In future versions of Windows and other operating systems when we have high numbers of logical processors, even on desktop and mobile platforms, logical processors can be utilized by assigning them to specific tasks. One group of logical processors would be reserved for the operating system, another logical processor or two could be dedicated for virus scanning or malware detection. Of course the majority of logical processors would remain available for running applications. (Quelle: Intel)
Ich stelle mir gerade den Gesichtausdruck der Menschen in den Achziger-Jahren vor, denen ich als Zeitreisender erzähle, dass es in naher Zukunft Computersysteme mit dezidierten Malware-Kernen geben wird. Schöne neue Welt.
